Come to Unjo's SPS 2011 forum presentation "Designing multi motor drives with high performance..."

SPS11_eng_hoch_w_smallUnjo proudly invites you to the SPS 2011 forum presentation “Designing multi motor drives with high performance and energy efficiency with maintained modularity” in the VDMA hall 4A-541, Thursday 24 November at 11 o’clock.

In the presentation Jonas Hemming, CTO – Unjo AB, will explain how correctly designed modular FPGA based multi motor controls can produce flexible and customized control systems with a very short development time compared to using modern Digital Signal Processor (DSP) technology.

In order to achieve this result it is vital to guarantee true modularity. The main challenge in today’s solutions is to overcome the time dependency between software modules, a consequence of sequential processing in a standard CPU.

This is more important in controlling and synchronizing motors in multi-axis systems, and becomes absolutely crucial in design of customized systems, where numerous design variants must be produced in a short time.

This can be easily done by providing customized and modular software solutions using among others the semi standard Unjo Gepard™ motor control board, which provides a readymade hardware platform that shortens time to market, serves as a cost efficient platform for prototyping and even small volume production.
